Configure a Stable Browser Fingerprint

Choose fingerprint settings for the profile, keep them stable, and fully restart the browser so saved changes take effect.

Updated Aug 24, 2026

A browser fingerprint is part of the profile environment. MaskPilot saves the settings for each profile and applies them when the browser process starts. The goal is a repeatable configuration that fits the account purpose and network exit, not a different set of values on every launch.

Start with the essentials

  1. Create or edit a browser profile.
  2. Choose the browser version you need.
  3. Review language, time zone, hardware, and WebRTC settings.
  4. If the profile uses a proxy, check the proxy first and confirm that the time zone follows the actual exit.
  5. Save the profile.

Keep defaults unless the workflow requires a specific value. Changing many settings together makes later troubleshooting harder.

Keep the profile identity stable

The same profile keeps a stable environment identity across launches. A cloned or received profile creates its own identity, so two copies should not be treated as one continuously synchronized environment.

Fully restart after a change

Fingerprint configuration is read when the browser starts. Saving an edit does not rewrite an already running process:

  1. Finish the current work and close the profile.
  2. Wait until the profile becomes available again.
  3. Relaunch it and verify the result.

If an old value remains, first confirm that the original browser process is completely closed, then verify that you edited the intended profile.

Validate with a test profile

Before changing the browser version, extensions, or important fingerprint settings in active work, complete the target-site workflow in a test profile. Apply the same approach to production profiles only after compatibility is clear.
